What is Junior Lifeguard?

Designed specifically for ages 10 to 14, we work with participants to begin building the emergency response and swimming skills required to successfully pass the Lifeguard Certification course when the time comes.

To top it off, Junior Lifeguards can optionally "shadow" one of our Senior Lifeguards through a day of work at one of our numerous locations thoughout the state to gain insight into the work environment for which they can carry into any job going forward.

Includes three certifications

✓ StarGuard S.T.A.R. Water Safety

✓ Basic First Aid from the American Safety & Health Institute

✓ BLS− CPR/AED from the American Safety & Health Institute

Written Exam

At the completion of the course, participants must take and pass a written exam:

Included Professional Rescue Equipment

When lifeguarding on the field, many employers will require Lifeguards to purchase their personal rescue equipment. To ensure our Junior Lifeguard participants have the equipment they've already been trained to use before then, each participant will receive the following free of charge:

  • CPR Barrier Mask

  • Lifeguard Hip Pack

  • Fox40 Ultra-Loud Whistle & Lanyard

Best of all, this equipment can be saved for future employment to save the burden down the road. In fact, it's the same rescue equipment all EUVORI lifeguards have!
